These bags are great for textile artists and full of goodies for creative people. The pictures are stock photo's, and do not represent the exact items that you receive, but it will be very similar. You will receive a "surprise bag" of mixed silk with a good selection of different colors and patterns. The silk is recycled vintage Sari silk, and can therefore have small blemishes. Some silk is printed and some silk is hand dyed. Fun. Reusable. Mess Free. Beautiful Easter eggs in 20 minutes. The fabrics are salvaged from vintage silk sarees. It's a great way to recycle and reuse. Fabrics may have minor defects/stains since they are recycled. It's a neat process with no actual need to clean up. No paint stains to clean from carpet, floor or your clothes. You can use one silk scraps to dye more than 1 egg. It may not be as vibrant as the first one but it will be unique and beautiful on its own. You may get different silk pieces than pictured here as it depends on availability. But I will be sure to add beautiful prints and colors. These silk scraps are multipurpose! Can be used for quilting, patchwork and felting other than egg dying. Wrap eggs in silk scraps. Eggs should face the brighter side of the fabric. Raw white eggs recommended for best results.2. Wraps that further in a white cloth. Use a twist or elastic hairband or rubber bands to secure the cloth.3. Boil water in a pan (enough to cover the eggs).4. Add 1/4 cup of white vinegar5. Put eggs in the pan. You may lower the heat and just let it simmer for 20 minutes.4. Take out the eggs after 20 minutes and let them cool for a few minutes before taking off the cloth/silk.5. Unwrap and enjoy!6. Do NOT devour! These eggs are not recommended to be eaten.
