Rare Kolinsky Sable Fine Artist Quality brushes.Used by the Disney animation and Filmation Studios. Perfect condition. Made by the German company ArtSign, exclusively for the Disney animation department and Filmation Studios. The following information is from an art store that had been in business for 57 years in California: Continental Art Supplies, Ltd. Reseda, Ca. Closed in 2017 "The Tan Handled brushes are equally old ArtSign Series 9. I actually think these may be the best Kolinsky rounds ever made. A steal at under $200 each. These were the only brushes that Disney Animation and Filmation Studios used!" India ink sketch shows the diversity of stroke sizes you can get with a single brush- only a #7 size was used to create all the strokes from fat to whisker thin.
